- Name and contact details (telephone number, email address, mailing address);
- Property information (property address, property condition, occupancy status, your selling timeline, and your answers to our property questionnaire);
- Communications consent records, including the state of each consent checkbox you selected (calls consent and/or SMS consent), the exact version of the consent language displayed to you, and the date and time of your submission;
- The contents of communications you send us (emails, text messages, call recordings where permitted by law, and voicemails).
Information collected automatically when you use the Site:
- IP address;
- Browser type and version, device type, and operating system (user agent);
- The page URL and form from which you submitted your information;
- Referring URLs, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and click activity;
- Cookie identifiers, pixel data, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5).
Information from third parties:
- Advertising platforms (Meta, Google, YouTube) may provide us with campaign-level analytics about how you reached our Site;

2. How We Use Your Information

3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
SMS opt-in data: Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, sold to, or transferred to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are shared only with aggregators and providers of the text-message services themselves, solely to deliver the messages you requested.
We share information only as follows:
- Service providers that help us operate our business — for example, our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, telephony and messaging providers (including Twilio), website hosting, analytics, and consent-documentation services — under contracts that limit their use of your information to providing services to us;
- Professional advisors (attorneys, accountants, insurers) where reasonably necessary;
- Business transfers — a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets;
- Legal compliance — courts, regulators, and law enforcement when we are legally required to do so or to protect our rights, safety, or property;
- With your consent — any other sharing you expressly authorize.
All of the foregoing categories of sharing exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent, which will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text-message services.
4. Telephone and Text Communications
- Consent to receive calls or texts is optional and is not a condition of receiving a cash offer or purchasing any property, goods, or services.
- We maintain an internal Do-Not-Call list. You may revoke your consent to calls or texts at any time by any reasonable means, including: replying STOP to any text message; telling any of our representatives (human or automated) to stop calling; emailing us at info@sterlinghomeoffer.com; or submitting a request through our Do Not Call page. We honor revocation requests within ten (10) business days or sooner.
- Some of our outbound calls may use AI-generated or prerecorded voice technology. We only place such calls with the required prior consent. - Calls may be monitored or recorded for quality, training, and compliance purposes, where permitted by law.
5. Cookies, Pixels, and Interest-Based Advertising
We use cookies and tracking pixels, including the Meta Pixel and Google tags (Google Ads / YouTube), to measure ad performance and to show you relevant ads on Facebook, Instagram, Google, and YouTube, including retargeting ads shown to people who previously visited our Site.
- We do not use SMS opt-in data for advertising targeting.
- You can opt out of interest-based advertising through your device or browser settings, through the ad platforms' own settings (Meta Ad Preferences, Google Ads Settings), or through industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page at optout.aboutads.info.
- Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. Doing so may affect the functionality of the Site.
6. Your State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to:
- Know/Access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you;
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information;

We will verify your identity (typically by confirming the phone number or email address you used with us) and respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law.
We do not knowingly respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals; where required by law, we honor opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control for cookie-based sharing.
7. Data Retention
We retain:
- Consent and revocation records (including consent text version, timestamp, IP address, user agent, and page URL) for at least five (5) years after the last communication made in reliance on that consent, for compliance and dispute-resolution purposes;
- Internal Do-Not-Call records for at least five (5) years;
- Lead and transaction records for as long as needed for the purposes described above and to comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations;
- Call recordings for our standard retention period, after which they are deleted unless needed for an active legal matter.
When retention periods expire, we delete or de-identify the information.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us at info@sterlinghomeoffer.com and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
